Omar is proud to announce that he will be running for Saint Paul City Council in Ward 1, where he has been a longtime resident and a small business owner. Omar has extensive knowledge of city government and has been on various committees, including the city planning commission, the transportation committee, and serving as vice chair of the zoning committee.
“New leadership is needed in City Hall. We need someone who is reliable and relatable to our diverse communities. As the next City Council member, I will ensure that residents in Saint Paul are served equally and fairly by their city,” Omar Syed said. Omar Syed looks forward to meeting and working with community members throughout the campaign.
